Not for me. I’m in my seventies and struggling with the cost of living crisis. The first thing the Labour government did when they gained power was to adress the housing crisis by dropping the Tory policy that discouraged foreigners from seeking refuge here after they had crossed multiple safe havens. The second thing they did was to drop the help the Tories gave the likes of me with heating bills. If I survive the next few winters, it won’t be thanks to the privileged Labour mandarins.
